This view is from outside of my hotel door.

I visited Paris in April 2016 as part of my birthday trip. I took a direct flight on Air France from Greece to Paris. I stayed at Hotel Mecure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel which was a 4-star hotel a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower. Visiting Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower was on my bucket list.  This was a short trip for me so I was unable to do everything I wanted to do.

Things to do:

You can take the elevator up the Eiffel Tower and see the view from above. There is also a restaurant inside of the Eiffel Tower on the 11th floor that offers French Cuisines.

I took a one-hour boat ride on the La Seine River which gave us a tour of the main attractions that one can see from the river. There was an operator educating you of the various sites (monuments, bridges, and buildings) you were passing.

There were plenty of random locks found all over the city in different areas.

We shopped at Beaugrenelle but there are various other stores and malls you can visit.
